Summer Camp
The first difference we noticed [at HFS] is that the activity is run by adults, the instructors are certainly young, but not kids by any means. They are watching over our children to make sure that all feel included and all participate in a meaningful way. Our son went from having a belly ache every day to being thrilled and happy every day this summer. Indeed he has matured and evolved into the confident boy he is now on his own in many ways, but the positive and supportive atmosphere at HFSC surely helped. Our children loved all their days at camp last summer and are truly looking forward to going back in June.
Our summer camp provides a space for students to create, explore, and learn. They dive into a wide variety of themes and have a special trip or experience every week! The have the opportunity to explore an interest in art, sports, music, building, science, yoga/mindfulness, swimming, literature, and more! This year our summer camp really focuses on fun things we can do in our community, all of the people that contribute to our community, and learning about communities all over the world! They get to experience new places, try out new interests, and create friendships.
